  • Thread-topic: Rename Folder without it moving

Hello All,

I have been using the bash mv command to rename folders on desktops for
remote users which works great except that the folders end up moving or
rearranging themselves after the command is done.

Is there a way to retain the position by using an applescript or some
additional bash command?

Thanks,

Jeff
