There have been lots of posts all over the place about scripts failing because of the new security rules on accessibility. They are causing people a lot of grief -- but they also close a glaring security hole, and were inevitable. GUI scripting has always been a fragile hack, and in some cases it has become an excuse for lazy developers. Now's the time for scripters to start writing to the people behind the apps where they use GUI scripting, and asking for proper scripting support for whatever they are trying to do.
