This worked fine on Mountain Lion, but it throws an error on Mavericks:
error "Mail got an error: AppleEvent handler failed." number -10000
Speaking of Mail - has anyone figured out how to turn off the accursed reply/forward animation?

Why is Apple trying to animate everything without giving us the option to turn the new animations off?
All the animations are very ADD inducing.
I don't want to watch things animate. I just want to use the interface without crap distracting me by flying across the screen, or unnecessarily sliding about. Just let us use the damned interface without all this fluff.
