Yvan means that he never got the original message (from Jerry Krinock, sent
Sat, 16 Aug 2014 15:19:10 -0700), only 5 answers to it. He's pointing out
some problem with the AppleScript-Users list which he has mentioned before.
Note to Yvan: Those 5 answer messages were the only ones to that point - you
didn't miss any others. (Since then: yours, Wayne's third, and now mine). I
haven't seen the same problem as you, at least not for a very long time. So
if you're trying to get confirmation here, I'm afraid I can't give it to
you. I got the original message. If nobody else confirms either, then the
problem would point to your own email server or an intermediate one. Perhaps
even some filter run by your internet provider is removing messages to a
spam/junk location. Or it might still be a random problem of the list
server, but I honestly don't see how it would omit just you (and some
others) only.
