David, nice to see a JXA author finally stick their head above the

I've answered some of the Apple event-related problems, but I gave up
trying to decipher JXA's broken OSA component implementation so there's
a couple questions on that still outstanding.
There's also been a couple JXA threads on devforums which you might want
to review:

Though I recommend folks take discussion to SO or
cocoa-dev/applescript-users, as those are popular public lists where
they're a bit more likely to find help.
