Actually, I have some Automator applets already in there that are giving me the same problem.
So it does not seem to matter whether the applet was created in Automator or with Applescript, each one needs to be primed, it seems.
Additionally, all of the alarms were disconnected from the files they are to open, so what I have found needs to be done is:
1) run the applet from the finder.
2) in Calendar, open the event and navigate to Alert - Open File - Other - then select the correct applet.
One other little thing is that I can only re-attach 2 alarms, then I have to quit Calendar, reopen Calendar, then continue my process.
I need an applescript to automate this process!!!! :D
