Has anyone experienced using 'choose file' under OS X 10.8 and passing a default location parameter like:
set
theDefaultLocation to "Macintosh HD:Users:jim:Desktop:" as
alias
set
theResult to choose file
with prompt ¬
"pick a file"
default location
theDefaultLocation
but the choose file dialog does not open to the requested default location, but some other seemingly random location that the user may have gone to at some point in some other "Open" dialog?
