Hi
Nigel,
from what I understand you did not get the error -1708.
I looked it up and got:
"the AppleEvent was not handled by any handler”'

Which I believe happens when you send an standard addition command to an application.
I tried a Portuguese system language and did not

So why is the mysterious -1708 creeping in certain systems?
