Typo there./ It should be:
~/Library/Scripts/Applications/Excel
But that's not what Ray was asking about, Those scripts would then be
accessible - to run, that is - from the "system" AppleScript menu on the
right side of the menu bar in a "Microsoft Excel" subfolder.
But does Excel 2011 not still have its own AppleScript menu on the left
side? The place where Ray found his "About this menu" instruction. I don't
have Office 2011, so the location *may* have changed, but if it's the same
as in Office 2008, the location of these scripts are here:
~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Excel Script Menu Items/
which Ray seems to know already. That's where you'd access then to open and
edit them. The way you "access" these scripts to run them, if that's the
question, is simply to select them ion that AppleScript menu on the left
side, where they should now appear.
I repeat: I don't have Excel 2011, so things may have changed. (The location
of the Excel Script Menu Items may have moved to ~/Library/Application
Support/Microsoft/Office/. That's where I'd look if you can't find it in the
Microsoft User Data folder any more.) But that's how things have always
worked up through Excel 2008.
