Hi,

Is there a way to detect which Desktop/Space is currently active?

There doesn’t appear to be a dictionary for Mission Control.

I currently use this to select a desktop;

tell application "System Events"
activate
delay 1
key code 18 using {control down} # Move to desktop 1
delay 1
end tell

I would rather use a loop to insure that the action has occurred instead of adding delays, which sometimes fail.

TIA,

Robert Poland
