So it appears that Apple has relaxed the normal non-disclosure rules this year, and the WWDC videos can be viewed by anyone here:

The relevant session is JavaScript for Automation.

The video also mentions a couple of AS-related goodies -- optional parameters and script progress indicators -- but gives no details.
