And are you writing (or at least modifying) them yourself, or getting them elsewhere? And are you using libraries with scripting dictionaries, or using normal AppleScript handler calls?
Yes we are using Script Libraries, in fact it is an business objective this year. Right now we are focused on migrating our AS items first. The ASObjC library items will come later this year. The AS items are written internally, with one exception. The ASObjC ones will likely be picked up from other sources, then modified. The library we have uses the regular dictionary and we prefix all our commands with the department code.
The buildup is of our department specific library is gradual, but is allowing us to standardize and update certain functions used by our automation.

N/A

Yep. The video Sal did is a lifesaver.

Allowing ASObjC directly in scripts would improve the uptake, libraries or not.

Tough one. ASObjC covers many of the wishes, just have to rub the lamp hard to get them at times. With only one wish it would be better Apple software support for AppleScript. If Preview would accept commands I could work miracles (well even more of them anyway) in our workflow. The support they provided for Numbers has already gotten me moving away from Excel.
