Some features are new. You know we run several tenths of Smile to handle the 30,000+ web sites we home at www.quomodo.com - Smile is our php. Our goal was simply that they be able to load shared libraries on demand, and it seems to work as intended.
There is an additional mechanism to force-reload libraries whose modification date has changed since they were first loaded - some of our Smiles run for weeks between relaunches and libraries may change. Ask me is you are interested.
