I've got the Master collection for CS5 and CS4.
Honestly, considering the cost of Master Collection, I can't even consider why I'd want to update to CS 6, or the "pay us yearly" model that Adobe now sells.
As for the Mac OS, well if I weren't coding for iOS, I'd still have my work Mac on 10.6.8.
As for a value proposition, it's hard to justify upgrading today unless you're forced into it, IMO.
