Scriptable multi-clipboard utility?

Greetings scriptonauts! I was wondering if anyone might be able to recommend a scriptable multi-clipboard utility. What I'd like to be able to do is copy a multi-paragraph text selection and run a command that would split it up by paragraphs into a menu or palette of separately pastable clips. Any ideas?
