I was aware when I wrote it of the non-sequitur implication that the way
the Finder compared names meant my workaround was one of the fastest. I
meant of course that my workaround was therefore an option and that —
incidentally — it also happened to be one of the fastest of which I knew
(when using the Finder). But it proved too difficult at the time to
express this in a readable form. :)
