I tried to run the script from the Apple's Script Editor pressing the control key while clicking the Run button (named Exécuter in French).
There's a conflict, but it should work if you hold control and choose the command form the menu. Or use control-command-R, as you found.
THANKS
I was far from guessing that there was a conflict between two Apple's functions. Using the shortcut control-command-R (^⌘R) is — at least from my point of view — easier than pressing control and triggering a menu item whose name switches from "Exécuter ⌘R" to "Exécuter au premier plan ^⌘R".
Now, a large library file contain the different handlers and the demo script behave flawlessly. When I will have some time available, I will study what every UI Element is supposed to achieve.
