In 10.4.1, the System Events dictionary display the items : attach action to attached scripts edit action of remove action from folder action script
Now things are clear :
attach action to is available as an hidden feature which is a way to say that it is deprecated and it would be safe to no longer use it and code according to what is given in the recent /Library/Scripts/Folder Actions/Attach Script to Folder.scpt script, which is what I reproduced in my first message in this thread.
Those who like to play with matches may use it but on my side, I will play safety.
