Does anyone have an idea of which folder is the correct one for different versions of the Mac OS?

As of OS X 10.8, Apple introduced a new way for sandboxed apps to run scripts, and this only works with scripts stored in ~/Library/Application Scripts/<bundle id of the app>/. Before that, there was no fixed rule on where the scripts would need to be stored — it was up to the app’s developer.
