Hello Robert

May you try to insert a delay between the activation of Finder and the tell application "System Events" instruction ?

tell application "Finder"
	activate
end tell
delay .2
tell application "System Events" …

With Yosemite, I was forced to insert such a delay in all my scripts triggering GUIScripting.
