Can't Add a Script App to the Keychain

Is that right?  When the script app is executed, it asks for the login and password and I check the "add to keychain" box but it is never added.  I also tried to open the item in the keychain utility, hit "Add Application" and selected the script app but it still isn't added.

Is this another Snow Leopard only bug or design intent?
