Shouldn’t the  contents of the global field in FMP be set to return separated text really? At least that is how I am taugtht to store several values in a list.

I’d have a look in the help pages of FMPRO, looking for repeating values, return based lists or something, or examples that uses patternCount. I just can’t find any good example at the moment, But I think you really need to look at your code, and check if it expects a return separated list of text.
