Hey Jean-Christophe,
All the more reason to ask for a little direction when you get stuck.
I try to use "return" to debug but this time I couldn't not even make sense of the error messages :)
Are you putting the Event Log to good use?
Remember that you can log <value> to drop things in there.
I would like to find a way to create Services without having to use Automator. Like just put a script in ~/Library/Services, set some properties and have it be recognized there.
You can't.
But FastScripts ($9.95 US) will take the place of Apple's AppleScript menu and give you global and per application keyboard shortcuts. I've used it since 2003.
Interesting. On 10.10.3 I do get emacs to open the files I selected in Finder but I can't run the script once more because it keeps "running" (the Script menu only has the "Stop" item available).
I have no clue and can't test on Yosemite at present. I'll install it sometime soon though.
I still think it's bug-ware, but too many apps are becoming 10.10-only.
Try the revised script I just posted and see if there's any difference.
