Hi all,

 

merci Yvan, exactly what I wanted:

 

do shell script "date +%F"

 

 

I've done the conversion - with taking care of the leading zeroes - many times in the past but I do not wanted to take time to make a quest in my archives and also I wanted to know how people do that nowadays.
