List of numbers for encoding in Microsoft Word?

Apparently Microsoft Word won't accept a reasonable textual description of an encoding, instead requiring a number.

30 == MacRoman

Does anyone know where this is defined? Or a source for such a table enumerating such?

The 2004 Applescript reference just lists the text names...
