OK, I watched it a second time, but it didn’t answer the questions I have. It says to enter these codes and tells you where, and the format, but nothing about what they mean, if anything, or if they need to be unique or whatever.

What I’ll try is unique codes for the the suites, the command and parameter codes will reference the commands, the 8 letter code will be the code for the suite and the commands?

I looked at the documentation referenced and that’s not clear either. I’m assuming that since they don’t say they have to be unique they don’t and since they don’t say they have to follow a set guideline they can just be arbitrarily chosen.

I’ll let you know if I break anything.

I’d recommend watching the video. It explains a lot about the structure of SDEF files and the codes.
