Script editor scrolling

I'm running OS 10.10.2 on a MacBook Pro.  In Script Editor, whenever I press the compile button or resize the window, the code scrolls itself down and you can see the scroll bar jumping around for a second or two.  This is annoying since I have to scroll back to where I was working each time.  Anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it?
