default folder x

We use Default Folder X in my department. We find it very useful and time saving. If you’re not familiar with it, it adds functionality to open and save dialogs, allowing you to click on any open finder window and your open or save dialog immediately takes you to that folder.

Since upgrading to Yosemite a couple of months ago though, if I’m running an AppleScript that puts up a choose folder dialog, Default Folder X doesn’t work in those dialogs. It worked fine with the same scripts prior to Yosemite. Is anyone familiar with this software and issue and if so, are there any workarounds?

Thanks!

RJay
