G’day Luther
Thanks, but I’m using Yosemite, which does not have a ‘Core Services’ Library folder, let alone ‘Printer Setup Utility’.
Apple have really dropped the ball on printing services in Yosemite, and I’ve lodged several bug reports.
Regards
Santa

The folder /System/Library/CoreServices/ contains the
application "Printer Setup Utility.app" which IS SCRIPTABLE.
I recall using this in a script years ago, but I have forgotten the details.
Perhaps it would solve some current printing problems (?)
