They can, and no doubt they have, to their satisfaction -- otherwise they wouldn't have sent you that message. Now they're asking you to confirm that you also are happy with it. That seems an eminently reasonable and courteous thing to do, not something to get grumpy about.
If you're not in a position to test it, and you can't find anyone else to do it for you, just tell them that.
