I could, but it's so much simpler to use a repeat/delay for the one
situation and idle for the other.

I offered that. But they got used to canceling if they needed to when
their document opened, and just wanted to stick with that. (I didn't
realize they were doing that until the scripts started running so fast
they couldn't cancel them anymore. Thanks Apple!)
