New Office for Mac Beta and Applescript

I just installed it. Applescript appears to work as usual, not worse but not better.

For example, running "get value of selection" on a range containing #N/A crashes the application.

Also, my attempts to script it via appscript have been (partially) unsuccesful so far, see below. I know appscript is unsupported and obsolete, but it is still very useful.

Any other experiences?
