Script Editor having problems saving files

This one's not about code, for once. :) It seems like every script I make, I keep seeing this warning that "the document could not be auto-saved". When I save for the first time, and name the script, the operation fails. I just had to copy the contents, erase the current document, then make a new one and paste everything in. That worked for a bit, but now--a few hours later--the same problem is happening again. What's with Script Editor and saving files? Is there a setting or permission or something that I need to adjust? I'm on the public Yosemite beta but I had similar problems in the stable release as well. Thanks in advance.
