(* A comment test with a pipe | *)

The error say that "*)" is expected but end of script founded. This error is so strange (I'm on 10.9.5, but also tested on 10.6.5 on other Mac). Am I the first who report it ?
I know that pipe can be used for special variables names, but why does it block the comment parsing ?
I know I can use -- for the comment (and in this case, there is no compilation bug with the pipe), but I have a long comment to made, so (* and *) is better.
Thanks if you have explanations (and I hope, an Apple engineer will read this and correct it in next version, if this bug remain in Yosemite). |
