Some people running a FIleMaker database I created that uses AppleScript get an error dialog when they open the database, something like “Please turn on accessibility from the control panel.” I made sure that FileMaker was already added to the Accessibility pane in the Security & Privacy system preference. Is there someplace else it needs to be enabled?
I haven't experimented with GUI Scripting scripts in FileMaker, but two possible issues occur to me that you might want to look into:
1. If the scripts are run from within FileMaker, I wonder if FileMaker uses a helper app to run scripts, and if the helper app might have to be separately authorized in System Preferences.
2. If the scripts are compiled as standalone script applications and FileMaker runs them as such, then the individual script applets might have to be authorized. |
