A quick clarification for those who would attempt some comparisons.
I have built that list of folder extensions:
(xcodeproj|deps|nib|app|pbproj|fs|ppp|workflow|xcode|xcdatamodel|pkg|bundle|lpdf|kext|dSYM|wdgt|settings|trace|Patch|split)
so as to get the same results with the find(1) utility as with Shane’s getFoldersIn() handler when applied to a *specific* folder I have on *my* disk.
That list is thus an ad hoc construct, and was never intended to provide a universal replacement for the getFoldersIn() handler.
