I was wondering if there anywhere AppleScript bnf grammar can be found?

You may look at :
https://developer.apple.com/library/mac/documentation/AppleScript/Conceptual/AppleScriptLangGuide/AppleScriptLanguageGuide.pdf

In El Capitan (and I think Yosemite, but can’t recall) AppleScript Language Guide is available directly from the Script Editor menu.

Help > Show AppleScript Language Guide

Thanks

I'm so accustomed to double-click the link available on my desktop that I missed that.
