You probably want to take a look at the man page for dscl at https://developer.apple.com/library/mac/documentation/Darwin/Reference/ManPages/man1/dscl.1.html

dscl . -read /Users/<username>

Would give you all information in the username record. You can also request specific keys.

Is there anyone on this list who knows something about scripting Apple Directory? I haven’t been able to find any examples of how to search for pieces of user account information.
