Yes. However, I’ve experimented, and found that addressing opening an app that is not in the Applications folder works fine in vanilla Applescript, but not in Xcode.

I resolved the problem just a minute ago by directly calling the two printer apps in the User Library/Printers folder.

ASObjC *is* AppleScript. Do you mean when used in an AppleScript application built in Xcode?
