Restore FastScripts Keyboard Shortcuts from Backup

He said it wouldn't be very difficult to write a script that would restore the shortcuts. However, I'm stumped as to how this would be done. When using tell application "FastScripts" it seem to me all the options are read-only properties (script file, keyboard shortcut, shortcut string are all read-only Properties). How is it possible to overwrite these properties?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
