Robert,

It does compile on El Capitan but as both yourself and Yvan have pointed out it doesn’t run.

I checked in UI Browser and the position attribute does show up but when I try and create an AppleScript to either set or get that attribute is describes it as an Unknown UI Element. So in other words something has changed in El Capitan for iBooks.

Maybe a macro product like “Keyboard Maestro” would have more luck.

Sorry about the false hope.
