Javascript app.displayDialog() not working

  • Subject: Javascript app.displayDialog() not working

Hello AS/JXA gurus,

I'm on El Capitan.

I was trying to follow some iTunes script examples in JS.
But couldn't get app.displayDialog() or displayAlert() working.

For instance,

action = "" class="" style="color:rgb(221,17,68);margin-bottom:0px">'iTunes Playback Options', {
    buttons: ['Playlist','Pause','Cancel'],
    message: 'message',
    defaultButton: 1,
    cancelButton: 3
})

This code always gives me "message not understood" when running from Script EditorĀ
and freezes iTunes if run from there.

Ideas?

Thanks,
Beinan
