Hey Mitchell,

I'm on OSX 10.11.6, so the OS per se shouldn't be the issue.  There were a few bobbles (little changes) when I upgraded from Yo'bugdom, but those were easily sorted out.

setting it directly through system events (which never, ever would have occurred to me) is the way to go.

Yes.

And I need to loop over the selections, but that is trivial.

And why I left it as an exercise for the reader.  :)
