  • Thread-topic: Picking your brains about dates and times

Hey guys, I truly appreciate all the helpful answers and suggestions, but
storing the data here really isn't the issue. I use FileMaker, Database
events and several other database systems (my fave is still HyperCard).

What I'm hoping for is a way to convert a weekly show schedule like this:

Tue 7 pm; Wed 7 pm; Thu 7 pm; Fri 8 pm; Sat 2 pm; Sat 8 pm; Sun 2 pm; Sun
6:30 pm

Into publishable strings like this:

Tue. - Thu., 7 p.m.; Fri. and Sat., 8 p.m.; Sat. and Sun., 2 p.m. and
Sun., 6:30 p.m.

And like this:

Tuesdays through Thursdays at 7 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m.,
Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 6:30 p.m., weekly
staring Friday, through June 15.

If we need a schedule for the week of Feb. 14 thru 20, it would produce a
string for those dates.

Sorry I didn't make that clear before.

Ed
