Once I get to the proper Preference Pane, I need to Set some App to be able to control my Computer.
The Problem is what App to set.
I need to set some particular App to have permission to control my Computer and right now I don’t know of any, so that means I can’t fix the script properly.
So is there a way to get the Script to Run, with the current OS X 10.11.4?
Since OS X v10.9 Mavericks it is no longer possible to set accessibility authorization programmatically or through scripts. Apple designed it to require a human being to grant authorization, for security reasons. The best you can do is open System Preferences to the correct location so the user can easily authenticate and then grant accessibility.
You can see my version of an AppleScript handler to do that by downloading the 30-day free trial of UI Browser at < http://pfiddlesoft.com/uibrowser>. Launch UI Browser and open its AppleScript pop-up menu, then select the Handler to Enable GUI Scripting at the top of the menu. |
