How to tell Window Class/Type in Outlook 2011

  • Subject: How to tell Window Class/Type in Outlook 2011

Hi All,

Does anyone know of a reliable way of telling the Class or Type of an Outlook Window? By this I mean one of the following:

The Main Email Browser.
An Email Window that is ok to send, e.g. when the is opened as a “New Email” or from the Drafts folder, has a Ribbon Bar that contains the “Send”, “Attach”, etc..
A Window that cannot be Sent, e.g. when the Window is opened from the Sent Mail Folder, has a Ribbon Bar that contains “Delete”, “Reply”, etc.

All the Best
Dave
