They're fine, but I fear mission creep. Some of what you're proposing seems to be the result of what you keep accusing others of: thinking like a programmer instead of listening to users. For example, something like a task lib sounds a fine third-party offering, but as part of a StandardLib? It risks becoming EverythingButTheKitchenSinkLib. And are AS users going to change " n > m" to "someLib's check number n is greater than m"? Apart from anything else, I fear it all just reduces the likelihood of fantasy becoming reality.
I think building more-focused third-party libs is likely to be more productive in the long run. But I happily admit I could be swimming against the tide on this.
