Trouble Saving New PDFPenPro File

close newDoc saving in ((POSIX path of (theSplittingFolder as alias)) as rich text) & theNewFileName & ".pdf”
serves this error:
The document “Untitled” could not be saved as “2016_7_8_16_1_22 FC0800-FC02610.pdf”. You don’t have permission.
File name appears to be right. theSplittingFolder is a folder that the script makes earlier in the script.
I don’t know how to fix this permissions issue. Any thoughts?
