I forgot, anyone downloading it use a:
cliclick -h
to get the builtin form of a man page.

Hello,
I'm fairly new to apple script.
There is a small cli utility that can controll all aspects of the apple
desktop from the command line, cliclick. It is free and the developer is
very open to requests for changes:

While it highlights the bility to click buttons it has in fact the ability to
do anything by being able to duplicate any keyboard or mouse input anywhere
in an application.
It occurs to me this can be used in those applications or other contexts
which are not scriptable with apple script.
I use it to open an app, perform some function and then return to the cli.
This includes destop and terminal apps.
I don't know if anyone has experience with it. What I would like to do and
have not been able to do so ths far is to use the apple script to run a shell
command to perform functions while not at the command line.
I can put a cliclick macro series of keystrokes in a shell script but apple
scriptt seems not to evoke it, it simply seems to ignore it.
Any ideas?
Thnks.
