PHOTOSHOP: Set Star Rating in Info

Is there any way to set the star rating of a file in Photoshop via scripting?

I'm not seeing any field of the info object for doing that.

I'm looking for a way to find files without layers (count layers = 1 and background layer = true), and give them a rating that is visible in Bridge.

Star ratings seem to be the only rating/label type configurable in the File Info dialog (the info object), but I can't locate any appropriate field.
